Finally made it!

We made it to the zoo yesterday! We had such a great time. We went right when it opened expecting to spend the full day there. Lukas had other plans though and was done after two and a half hours. This was fine with us though, since we got there so early we saw everything quickly. It was nice and cool and we didn't have to wait in line to see any animals. Lukas loved the fox's of all things. He was laughing and giggling at them like crazy. When he saw the elephants his eyes got so wide and he just sat there and stared. It was hard to get a good picture of him though because he was always on the move.

This was my favorite animal. They have a alpino alligator on display temporarily right now. There are only ten of them in the world. He will be gone at the end of this month so it was nice to be able to see him.

Lukas and daddy. Yes we are one of those cruel parents who put their kids on a leash. Seriously though I don't know what we would have done without this. He immediatley wanted out of his stroller right when we got there. He is a pretty fast runner and we didn't want him to get lost in the crowd or taken by a stranger. We practiced with this back pack leash in advance and Lukas actually got attached to it. He asks us to put it on him all the time. He thinks it is fun.

Lukas loved the carasouel. The minute he saw it he ran right too it. He screamed and screamed while we were getting tickets to go on. When he got on it Dan put him on the lion and he kept saying "go please, Please go" until it started. When we got off he had a huge meltdown. This was the biggest hit of the zoo.

I saw the Albino crocodile, too. It was pretty neat, but lethargic. I'm assuming that's why there are only ten in the world. They are very slow and lazy. :)

It was cool to see, though. Your baby on your widget is getting more human looking. That's always a good sign!

Whoops, I meant, albino alligator. It's for sure I couldn't tell you the difference.

Fun, fun, fun! The only thing MORE fun would be playing the Wii with your friends Nately and Chris... correct?
