Preschool graduation!
Today was Lukas's preschool graduation! I can't believe that my little guy has already completed one year of preschool! I seriously was so nervous the day I dropped Lukas off for his first day of preschool. I remember almost crying because I had never left him with anyone but family before. I was nervous for him and for myself. However, he exceeded all my expectations. He has learned and grown in leaps and bounds. Not only has he learned more in preparation for Kindergarten, but in social skills as well. He has learned to make new friends and have a good time when mom isn't around.

They walked down the aisle in these cute caps and gowns. Miss Valarie made for them! I can't even imagine how long it took her. She has about 50 kids between all of her classes. What an awesome teacher she is!
They sang some really cute songs. Nothing is cuter and has me smiling more then cute preschoolers singing! The girl in the front with the tiara is named Sara! Oh she is funny! I have gotten to know a lot of these cute kids because I have gone on every field trip (one a month) and volunteered for anything Miss Valarie needed help with. Sara was cracking me up! Watch out she may be on broad way when she is older.
They played a shape game. They sang a shape song to a c.d. and it would tell you when to stand up or sit down according to the shape you were holding. This was my favorite. They were awesome at first but then got a little confused and didn't sit or stand at the right time. I was laughing so hard!
They did the hokey pokey and the chicken dance. The girl in the flowered dress even yelled out to the girl next to her that she was sexy! Pretty funny stuff!
Lukas getting his treat bag and folder. Miss. Valarie made folders for all the kids. In them were their hand print trees they made. Also some other cute things they had made through out the year. She also saved all of their homework ( once a month she sent home letter and number home work and if they turned it in finished they got a prize.) and put it in. She had made a little scrap book of pictures of them as well for the folders. Again AMAZING! 50 kids she has.
I was getting Lukas's pic taken with Miss Valarie when Lukas's little friend Murray jumped in. I didn't care I thought it was pretty funny! So here is Lukas and his friend Murray with Miss Val!
Cute, cute Lukas!
My two favorite kids ever! I just need to figure out a way to get Blair to keep her shoes on!

Neighborhood Field Trip
On Friday we took a little neighborhood field trip to the farm! My neighbor Bryan ( he is a stay at home dad.) arranged it with his farmer friend for us to visit. We had a blast! We got to pet baby lambs, go out into a pasture and pet a cow, we pet some horses, and ran around the pasture. The best line of the day came from Lukas when he said, "Look mom, that cow wiggled his bum and pooped!" I couldn't stop laughing.
Lukas petting the cute baby lambs. These baby lambs mommy died. They are being bottle fed and that is why they are so friendly! They even sucked on our fingers. They were so cute!

I couldn't believe how friendly this cow was! He just let us pet it and just sat there for a while. I guess he was bottle fed like the lambs. All the other cows ran away. While I was taking this picture I felt hot breath on me. I about jumped out of my skin to come face to face with a horse. HA HA. Not that I am afraid of horses, but he seriously snuck up on me out of nowhere!
Behind this fence was a dead sheep. The kids thought it was so neat and stood there staring at it forever! The things that amuse the little ones.
This face cracks me up!
The whole group! This was the best picture I could get.
Picture of the day hands down! These two crack me up.

Earrings
On Saturday we took Blair to get her ears pierced. I wanted to do it when she was a baby but I thought I would wait till she at least had all her immunizations. A few weeks ago she started saying she wanted pretty earrings. Even if she might not have known what she was talking about I jumped right on it! The holes in my ears actually filled in so Blair and I ended up doing it together! She was so good. She held still the whole time. When the actual piercing was done she cried for a second but as soon as I told her she could pick out a prize for being so brave she stopped. She LOVES her earrings! She shows everyone. I love them too! She looks adorable! She has been great at letting me clean her ears and take care of them.

This is the prize she picked out from the store. It is a phone with lip gloss in it! HA HA. It makes a HUGE mess!

She can't stay away from the lip gloss. She might love it ALMOST as much as her earrings. Doesn't she look cute?

Bat man!!!!
Anyone who knows Lukas knows how obsessed he is with Bat Man! ALL things bat man! You can throw a few other super hero's in there as well, like Spider man and Super man. Yet Bat man takes the cake! He has gotten little Blair to love Bat Man as well. Old Navy has Bat man Jammies for boys and for girls. I bought Lukas a pair and he LOVES them! Well he noticed that they had a girl pair and insisted that Blair needed them. His wish was my command and I bought them for Blair! She LOVES hers as well. The day they came in the mail she said Bat man over and over again while looking at them. She also wanted to wear them even though it was lunch time not bed time. I am a mean mommy and made her wait till bed time!

Lukas also had to wear his of course!

Dotties bday party!
Grandma Wilkinson gave Blair and Lukas two beanie baby stuffed dogs and they are in LOVE! Ever since they got them they have slept with them and played with them daily. Lukas's dog is named Dottie, and Blair's is Molly (she looks like my parents dog Molly.) Lukas even has a dog cage for Dottie and asks us to baby sit him daily! This morning when we woke up he informed me that it was Dottie's bday. He also informed me we needed to give him a party. He even called Grandma Crane and told her we needed to give Dottie a party. So grandma invites us over to her house where we gave Dottie a cup cake party. The kids decorated the cup cakes for the party.
Molly and Dottie "Enjoying" their cup cakes. Lukas told me that Dottie could not have frosting on his cup cake because he would just make a mess of it. So only sprinkles for Dottie. We all know if the dogs were real they could not have chocolate cup cakes because it would harm them. We have informed my children that they are not to give the real dogs chocolate! ;)
We even sang happy birthday to Dottie. I hope that Dottie enjoyed his birthday. If you ask Lukas how old Dottie is he will tell you 1 sometimes and 3 other times.
Another thing on the agenda today PIGTAILS!!!! Here is Blair's first set of pig tails. She is finally starting to hold still more while I do her hair. They are a bit crooked cause she still moved a lot but we are making a TON of progress! They look so cute!
