Grateful

I just wanted to express my gratitude at being a mom of these two wonderful kids. I am especially grateful that I get to stay home with them and don't have to work. It isn't always easy and there of course are days I want to pull my hair out, yet I don't know what I would do without them. They are two of my most greatest accomplishments in life. They are the reason that I wake up SO early in the mornings. I would probably sleep most my day away if it wasn't for them. They are the reason I smile. Ever since I can remember all I wanted to do was grow up get married and have kids. I knew that as my "job" I wanted to be a stay at home mom. I don't regret it at all. I hope that I always have the option to stay home with my children. I am not sure I could hand my daily duties over. I am sure they could handle it but I don't think I could. Lukas and Blair I love you and am so glad I am your mom!

Just some of my faves!

I got my c.d. in the mail today from the kids photo shoot with http://ashleybecarphotography.blogspot.com/. I was so excited to see them! I was not disappointed at ALL! They were so cute and I had SO many to choose from. I couldn't believe how many pictures were on the c.d. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites. For now these are my favorites. Tomorrow it could possibly change. Now I just need to decide which ones to print and put up on my wall. I have waited to decorate a little because I have some special frames I got just for my kids 1 year and 3 year pics. I can't wait to put them up. At least I have the c.d. so I can print as many as I want and change my mind if I choose. Thanks again Ashley for the adorable pictures!

This toy box they are sitting on use to be my dads. Luckily my uncle Rex and Aunt Marsha saved it and gave it to us. It means a lot to me to have something from my dad when he was little.
This seriously is one of my favorites for sure! I have a picture frame that says laugh and I am pretty sure this is going in it.
Gotta LOVE her!

I love how his eyes change color. If I put green on him his eyes are so green. If I put blue on him his eyes are blue. Usually though they stay green. It is odd because he had blue eyes until he turned two.
He is SO handsome!

Such a monkey.

We have a LOT of pics with Lukas sticking his tongue out. I guess it was his favorite pose ;)

First picnic

Lukas has been begging to eat outside and have a picnic. So tonight for dinner we had hot dogs and ate them outside. It is the first picnic of the year for us! We love our new back yard (especially now that it is spider free). Pretty soon we will have a patio to make it even better.

I LOVE the first two pictures of the kids at the picnic table. They are so cute and I am glad I get to be their mommy!

They had so much fun eating outside. Blair had a little too much fun throwing her food on the ground.

Spring has Sprung

It looks like Spring is starting to come out a little more. It is GREAT! We love playing outside. As much as I hate dealing with the time change I do love having the extra hour of sun light every day.

Blair thinks it is fun to push Lukas on the trike. Lukas doesn't think it is quite as fun.
Blair wishes she was older. She wants to ride the trike so bad. She can't quite reach the peddles yet. I do push her around on it though. Lukas will probably be upgraded to a bike soon and she will inherit the trike.

The rock R.V. Pad is a favorite of my kids. Lukas has been collecting rocks and "saving" them in a special place in the garage. I am wondering if we will even have an R.V. pad by the end of the summer if he keeps doing this.

Gotta love the bubble blower!

She is just getting so big!

Dinosaur Museum

Yesterday we went to the Dinosaur museum. We told Lukas on Monday we were planning on going on Saturday. Everyday he would ask if it was the day we were going to be going. He was so excited. Both my kids enjoyed it. Blair just ran around and followed us and pointed at things and would say "Wow". Lukas thought everything was neat. Too bad the weather was not so neat that day. The snow storm was so yucky. Not to mention the wind. I think we almost blew away going back to our car when we were done. Lukas was crying he was scared the wind was blowing so hard. I am glad that the dinosaurs didn't scare him like that.

Blair running around like a mad women.

This dinosaur was a favorite with my kids. Especially Blair I had to drag her off of it.
My 3 favorite people. Of course Blair is trying to run off. She will NOT sit still for anything.

Lukas had fun digging for the dinosaur bones.

Cute and Cool

I just wanted to post some pictures of my kids looking cute. If your Lukas he would say pictures of my kids looking cool.

Lukas is a crack up! I think he is enjoying Blairs cozy coupe more then Blair is.

I am not sure Dan will be happy about my posting of this pic. However, I think it is such a sweet picture. Lukas and Dan took a nap on the couch on Saturday.

I managed to get Blairs hair in a cute pony tail after 3 tries! She is such a mover. Good thing I got a picture of it though because 5 minutes later she pulled it out! She is really dashing my dreams of always having a baby who wears a hair bow and has her hair done all cute!

Blairs favorite place to play. The stairs! She could play on them all day. She gets by all my make shift gates to go up and down them and play. Sadly this has led to a few falls. She just tries so hard to be big and tries to go down them feet first.

Sneak Peak

Last Saturday my cute friend from Junior High/high school came and took my kids 3 year and 1 year pictures for me. These are my sneak peak pictures. She did a great job and was so sweet with my kiddies. If anyone is interested in booking a session with her here is her blog site http://ashleybecarphotography.blogspot.com/. She is super affordable as well! She also runs a preschool so you KNOW she is great with kids! Thanks Ashley for coming to my house and doing this. I can't wait to see the rest!

Anyone who knows Blair knows this is a classic little Blair face. LOVE IT!
She is so cute.

When did Lukas get SO big! I can't believe how old he looks and that he is THREE! We LOVE HIM!
I am so glad I get to be the mom of these two! All in all they did awesome at their photo shoot. They cooperated and smiled and I was proud. I was especially glad that Blair did so well because later that day she broke out in a fever so she must not have been feeling that great.

One Year!

Blair had her one year check up today.
She weighed 19 pounds 7 ounces 24 percentile
Her height is 29 and 3/4 inches. 73 percentile.
We have to take her in for a weight check in a month since she has only gained six ounces in 3 months. Plus she has been loosing weight the last few weeks and he just wants to make sure she is on the right track since she has had a rough couple of months. I am not concerned since she is such a mover and she eats a ton! We opted out of the shots until 15 months since she has had a rough few months. Plus her fever just finally went away and we didn't want it to come back. Also we are sure we know the culprit of her recent fever Roseola or 5ths disease. She broke out in a rash this morning. The Dr. agreed with her needing a break.

Oh how I love this little girl. When I found out I was pregnant with a little girl I was ecstatic. One of each how lucky and blessed was I. I couldn't wait to dress her up and have her wear hair bows and bracelets. She is so super cute and yes, I dress her up but she is pretty good at ripping off those hair bows. Even though it totally bugs me at least she lets me know what she wants. She has had a tough few months but she is such an amazing happy baby and done so well with her struggles and trials. I truly hope that she always stands up for what she wants. She loves her daddy and mommy and brother. She can say a could amount of words. Daddy, mom, hi, hey, out, no, yes, uh oh and just started saying down a few days ago.. She is my climber and keeps somehow getting around my make shift baby gates. She figured out how to knock the benches down so she can climb up those stairs. She loves climbing up them. At least she figured out how to get back down. She can light my day up with her smile and giggle. She is full of attitude and love. She gives awesome kisses and hugs. She can point to her belly button and nose. Sometimes she does get her nose mixed up with her eyes. She can throw and kick a ball. She still just has one tooth but I am sure some more will pop through any day. Bath time is one of her favorite times of day. She splashes and lays on her tummy and has a blast. Blair turning one is a bitter sweet day. My baby is no longer a baby but now a toddler. I wasn't as sad for this day as I was for Lukas's bday but I think it is because she lost all her baby qualities a long time ago when she started walking and acting way older then she is. It made this day a little easier for me.

She LOVES shoes! She puts on Lukas's every once in a while and stomps around the house in them.
She loves playing on her belly.
Silly girl. She hates to let me feed her. I just let her feed herself and ignore that she is making a huge mess.
My mom made this pillow case dress for her too. I LOVE it!

Blairs birthday part 2

Today Blair officially turned 1. We clebrated by having a party with some of my family and some friends. Blair wasn't feeling that great today but she perked up and ended up having a great party despite that. We had a cupcake/pink theme. She looked adorable as always.

My mom made her this cute pillow case dress. Sadly this is the only picture I could get of her with the bow (this is the bow my cousin Ryane made that she wore yesterday as well.) I am having a hard time getting her to keep her bows on. She refused tonight. After I tried a dozen times I just gave up.

We got cup cakes from the Sweet Tooth Fairy! YUM! If you haven't ever had Sweet Tooth Fairy cupcakes you just have to try them! They are a dream come true.
Blair with my aunt Suzanne. Blair's middle name is Suzanne after her!

Emma and Lukas had fun running around playing with balloons.
Blair opening her gifts. She got lots of cute pink toys.
Just being her silly little self!
Give me that cup cake. We ordered a jumbo cup cake for Blair as her smash cake.
A repeat of yesterday. I think I will just take a bite right out of this.
MMMMMM!

She got it everywhere! In her hair etc.
Blair got this cozy coupe from grandma and grandpa Crane. Both my kids love it! They pushed each other around in it and had a blast.
