Silly Lukas

Lukas is so silly! We have had so much fun these past few days just hanging out and playing. We have been swimming some more in our backyard and playing outside a ton. Lukas is just growing up so fast and surprising me on a daily basis with the things he is learning. He keeps my on my toes that is for sure! He is all boy! Good thing we have little Miss Blair to balance our house hold out with some girly things.

Lukas loves pop and is obsessed with his orange soda right now. His face is stained orange in this picture and he just had to tell me his mouth was orange and give me this face as proof!

I didn't think he would like the sprayer on the pool but he does and he always asks me to turn it on.

I have NO idea what made him do this. He kept doing this on the chair and laughing though for seriously a half hour. He was cracking me up.

potty

Yesterday Lukas asked to go poop on the potty. I put him on and sure enough he went. He went four more times after that. He only had once accident yesterday. We figured maybe he was trying to tell us something so we took him and let him pick out a big boy potty. He picked out an elmo potty. He was so excited he didn't even take a nap yesterday. Lets just say we spent most of our day in the bathroom. Today he has gone twice but not as much as yesterday. We are proud of him and if he wants to keep doing it great but I don't want to push him. If he is asking I better take advantage of it right? He has been getting lots of ice cream and popsicles as rewards.

On another note this little sweet heart has an ear infection yet again. Poor girl I feel horrible for her. She still is all smiles though and we sure love her.

Finally, some chubs

I am proud to announce that Blair is finally getting her chub on! She is starting to get some thigh rolls and is looking adorable (not that she wasn't before because of course she was!) I am no longer getting as many she is so little comments I am now getting wow she is so long comments. The eating every two hours is finally catching up now. I am wondering how much she is going to weigh at her four month check up.

I love this sweet picture. Lukas is now asking to hold Blair all the time and gives her kisses constantly.

First swim of the Year

We got Lukas this cool shark pool a few weeks ago. Today it was finally warm enough to swim in it. Emma came over to swim with him. His other little friend Anna came too but she came later and it was too hetic to get any pictures then. He loved it and had a good time. He woke up at 530 again this morning and was not in the best of moods though and was a little on the mean side. He is napping now though and hopefully he will be nicer when he wakes up. They seriously swam for three hours. They had a blast. We are excited for more days like these.

Blair sat in her bumbo for the first time today. She did well and seems to like it.

6 years

Yesterday May 16th was mine and Dans 6 yeard Wedding Anniversary. I can't believe that we have been married six year! Time sure does fly by quick. My aunt watched our little ones while we went to the Cheesecake Factory and minature golfing. The best part was therew was NO wait at the Cheesecake Factory. We really enjoyed our alone time together.

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

Guess who rolled over from her tummy to her back today? Yep, Miss Blair. I was actually surprised because I don't put her on her tummy very often,because it usually results in lots and lots of spit up. I had her propped up on a pillow on the floor while I was changing her clothes and she rolled to her tummy (of course the pillow helped aid in that part.) and then she immediatly rolled back to her back. It startled her (my clapping and cheering probably didn't help) and she started to cry. As soon as daddy came home we had to show him her new trick. I love milestones! However, she is growing up way too fast!

I think this picture shows that she is proud of herself too.

Winter boots

Lukas had to wear his winter boots outside today even though it is really warm. It made me laugh. He looked hilarous with his shorts on and t shirt walking around with snow boots and no socks. He even pulled out the snow shovel and pretended to shovel snow. Silly kid! I hope he isn't wishing for winter again because I sure as heck am glad it is over!

Lip lops

Lukas calls flip flops lip lops! It is hilarous. I love it and it is one of my favorite things he says. He is obssessed with lip lops and always wants to wear them. He even just wears them around the house sometimes. He gets excited when he sees lip lops in his size at the store. He asks me to buy them for him. However, I think three pairs of lip lops is enough. Whenever we go somewhere he insists that mommy,daddy and Blair wear their lip lops along with him. Good thing Blair has a pair of lip lops. We will have to get her some more when she grows out of these.

2 month stats

Blair had her two month check up today. She is growing and is healthy. She weighed in at 10 pounds 15 ounces 44th percentile. She is 23 and a half inches long which is 75 percentile. She is tall and skinny. The funny thing is, is Lukas weighed 10 pounds 9 ounces at two months and people use to tell me all the time how chubby he was. Now Blair weighs more then him and people always comment on how small she is and ask how much I am feeding her. It makes me laugh. I am so glad she is finally putting on weight and getting big. The Dr. commented on how strong she was and how well she was holding her head up for her age. She got her shots today as well. She did well in the office and only cried for a few seconds. However, she has been struggling the rest of the evening. I am pretty sure the roto virus vaccine (it is given orally) has made her tummy hurt. I have never seen her so sad. Lukas never got the roto virus vaccine so I am not sure of too many of the side effects.

I love Lukas's face in this picture. Lately he has been asking to hold Blair a lot.

This is what I came home too today. Dan has been working the grave yard shift this week. He came home and watched Lukas so that I could make it to the Drs. by 8:45 with Blair. They both must have been tired. Lukas did get up at six this morning so I am not surprised. I thought it was really cute thoug.

Blairs Blessing!

Today we blessed Blair in Sacrament meeting. She looked so pretty in her beautiful dress. Even Lukas said Blair looks pretty. It was so sweet. The blessing went really well. Dan gave a wonderful blessing. He blessed her to grow and be healthy. He blessed her to know the knowledge of the gospel. He blessed her to find a worthy mate to take her to the temple. I am so grateful that Dan has the preisthood and can bless our wonderful beautiful children. Afterwards we had a get together with our friends and family at my parents house. We are so grateful for wonderful friends and family who are always there for us. You guys are wonderful examples to us and our kids. Thank you for sharing this special day with us!

She is so stinking cute! I loved the bonnet but it sort of bugged her so after Sacrament we took it off. At least we got a few pictures of her in it. My mom made the beautiful blanket for her. I love it!

Blair and Suzanne. Blair's middle name is Suzanne after her. She is such a wonderful aunt and we love her and wanted our little girl to have her middle name.

2 months!

Blair is two months old today! I can't believe she has been in our family for two months. We sure love her. She is such a good baby. She lets me get a lot done and also lets me snuggle her when I want to put things off. She loves her swing and bouncer and usually will only sleep in those two places or our arms at night. She now goes between four and five hours between feedings at night. She still isn't the best day time sleeper. She is so alert and is always staring at us with her big huge eyes. She is a great smiler. I can usually always get a smile out of her. She is a talker/cooer. I don't remember Lukas talking so much at her age. She loves it when her blankies touch her face. She hates tummy time and doesn't really like lying on the floor on her blankies for extended periods of time. We are just so happy she is growing and is healthy. Her two month check up is on May 7th (Thursday.) so I will let you know what her stats are.
