Easter dress

I bought Blair an Easter Dress when I was pregnant. I absolutely LOVE it! It is darling. I bought it in 3-6 months thinking she would be at least almost ten pounds by Easter. I knew it would be a little big but I wanted her to wear it for a bit. Well seeing she only weighs 7 pounds 14 ounces as of yesterday I don't think she is even going to remotley fit in it by Easter. I put her in it just to double check and she was drowning to say the least. So it looks like I am on the look out for a new Easter dress in 0-3 months. Hopefully I can find one I like in time for Easter. I am sad because I even made sure I bought Lukas's Easter outfit to match hers. So now I need to make sure I find something that will still match him.

This was her Easter dress.I am thinking of maybe buying this dress now.

Family update

March has been a crazy busy month for us with a lot of different things going on.

Lukas- He is such a good big brother and loves his little sister so much. Somtimes he loves her a little too much. She will be sleeping and I will look over and he will be leaning on her giving her kisses or giving her her bear she is holding in this picture. He is talking more and more everyday and learning lots of new things.

Blair- She is as darling as ever. She has her first cold and cough and as a mom my heart aches for her. We have no idea how she got it since we haven't really taken her anywhere. She is a trooper though and she is doing very well despite the cough and cold. I took her in on Monday just to have her looked at since she seemed really congested and she weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces. So we are glad she is back to her birth weight. It is hard to believe on Sunday she will be four weeks old.

Brandi- I got my gallbladder removed on Wendsday. I had 11 gall stones and apprentley had been passing stones as well. Passing gall stones is rare so no wonder I was in so much pain. They sent me home with pictures of my gall stones and gall bladder. I am recovering and am grateful for all the help that I have gotten from everyone.

Dan- Dan is officially 29 now! He has been working the day shift for a little bit so he has been getting use to that. He has been a great daddy and husband while I am recuprating from surgery. He has had to take over a lot of mommy duties because I have been pretty tired.

All in all March has been super busy and I am looking forward to everyone feeling well and getting back to normal.

Boys don't wear bows!

Today as we were leaving I put a bow in Blairs head. Lukas insisted on wearing one and grabbed one out of the basket. Then he put it on and left it on. I said do you want to wear that bow to grandmas and he answered yes. I just sort of shrugged and said whatever. When we were in the car and about half way there he took it off. Silly boy I guess he felt left out.

Just had to share a cute picture of Blair.

Blairs newborn session

Yesterday we did a newborn session of miss Blair. Again Nately was amazing and did a fantastic job. Desistodigitals.com is her website. We got some good ones of her and I made sure we put a bow in her hair for the no clothes pictures since I didn't want to confuse her with Lukas later in life since they look SO much a like as newborns. She really is a sweet baby and we already love her so much. Thanks Nately and Chris for taking such great pictures of my kiddies. I will treasure them always since they grow up so fast!

Cute and funny pics!

Things are good in our little adobe. We are just enjoying being a family of four. Dan and I are trying to adjust on little sleep. Not only does Blair not like to be put down at night Lukas wakes up five times a night now. So between the two sleep is pretty non existent. However, we are enjoying being parents of these two sweet little ones. I just wanted to share some funny and cute pictures of the two sweet little ones.

The other day I came in from the kitchen to find Lukas holding the phone up to Blairs ear. Apparently someone wanted to talk to Blair on the phone.
The same day Lukas put his boots on to go outside. I told him he needed to wait until dad got home to play outside because it was too cold for Blair. So he went to sulk in the corner with his stuffed animals and fell a sleep. I tried to move him to his bed but he woke up and got mad and told me NO! So I just let him take his nap there.
I love this pic of Blair. I just love how newborn babies look like porcelian dolls while sleeping.

Twins

I seriously can't believe how much my two kids look a like. The minute I saw Blair it brought back so many memories of Lukas. They have a lot of the same facial expressions and both have an EXTREMLEY loud cry. All the nurses would come running in when Blair would cry to check on us because they were sure something was wrong. The Dr. even commented when she came out that he hadn't heard a baby cry like that in a long time and we were in for some sleepless nights. I guess I wouldn't expect anything else from my little ones. The biggest thing to me that looks the same is their mouths. They have the same big eyes as well. Lukas's nose is a little bigger then Blairs. However, you can for sure tell that they are siblings. I lucked out in the cuteness department with these two.

Blair one week old. I love this dress it is darling. I had to take it off of her though because the flap on top kept coming up and getting in her face. She needs to grow a little more before she can wear it.

Lukas when he was a baby. I am not sure how old he is though. Can you see the similaraties? They both also have some chubby cheeks.

And now there is 4!

We are now a family of four! We welcomed baby Blair to this world on March 1st at 11:41 A.M. She weighs 7 pounds 9 ounces and is 20 inches long. After a long weekend of contractions I finally went into labor and delivery on Monday. I thought they would just send me home. I was so happy that I was dilated to a five and they admitted me. I was a little sad that my Dr. wasn't on call that weekend so I got a Dr. I didn't know. However, the delivery went great and was so much easier this time. I was only in labor (at least at the hospital) for four and a half hours. I pushed for ten minutes when miss Blair came out screaming. The Dr said wow your going to have a lot of sleep less nights I haven't heard a baby cry like that in a long time. She is pretty content so far but I will admit she has quite the set of lungs. She takes after her big brother. We are so happy to have her home and we sure do love her. Now I just need to get my blood pressure under control so I don't have to go on blood pressure medicine. Hmmm hopefully I can get the two kid thing under control because I can see my blood pressure continuing to rise as I go from one kid to two ;) Really, though I am loving being a mommy to a sweet boy and a sweet girl.

Big brother and little sister. Lukas is adjusting really well. He loves Blair and gives her hugs and kisses and always asks where his baby is. He also always wants to hold her and help feed her ect.

Coming home. She already is attached to that binky of hers. As you can see she is very upset in the top pic but once she got her binky she calmed right down.
The proud dad.
The proud mom.
