G and G Cranes Halloween party

On Saturday we had a Halloween Party at Grandma and Grandpa Crane's. We had lots of fun. They for sure got spoiled. I guess that is the advantage you have when your the only grand kids that live close.

We played Pin the nose on the Jack O Lantern. Lukas one but he admitted that he could see!

We had a pinata. Lukas has a great swing and broke open that witch pretty quick. Good thing we let Blair go first so she could have a turn.

We carved pumpkins. My kids were loving the pumpkin carving this year. They both asked to do two pumpkins. Of course Grandma let them. I am glad there were lots of helpers around to help my kids. Carving isn't my favorite thing. I don't enjoy digging out the goo guts!
One of Blair's finished pumpkins!

Lukas hard at work.
The finished pumpkins.
We had the lights out to see the pumpkins glow. I took a picture but had forgotten to turn off my flash. This was the face of Lukas in the dark! It cracks me up every time!

Posing in the Costumes!

Lukas wanted me to take a bunch of pictures of him posing in his Spider Man costume. Man, the kid cracks me up. We got some great pics of him doing his thing! I tried to get Blair to paricipate but she wasn't having it. I guess she is a shy Little Red Riding Hood.

I did get 1 pic of Blair. She had to copy Lukas's first pose.

Lukas is one awesome spider man!

Hip hop!

Lukas has been taking hip hop for a few months now! He LOVES it! His teacher Stacey is so good with them. Tonight the dance studio put on a Halloween show case. Lukas was so excited to perform for it. He did SO awesome! He really has a talent for it. He watches, listens, and always stays on beat. I love that he loves it. It has brought him a lot of confidence and I can see how fun it is for him to learn and succeed at something. I am so proud of him! We love you Lukas!
P.S. I totally recommend this dance studio to anyone who lives in the Spanish Fork area. I have been looking for a studio for Lukas to take hip hop at for a while. They either wouldn't let him because he wasn't old enough, or they wanted him to take a combo class of ballet, hip hop, and jazz. He really just wanted to take hip hop. They are great price and the kids all have so much fun. A lot of the teachers are on the UVU ballroom team. The owner is the UVU ball room coreographer. She is so sweet and so cute. In the two months they have been open I feel like the have succeeded in so many ways. I am signing Blair up for ballet and she starts next week!

G and G Wilkinson Halloween Party

Yesterday was the annual Halloween party at Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson's! My kids love this party. Dan and I do as well. Lots of yummy food, and fun games! Plus playing with cousins is always a favorite in our house.

Lukas is spider man this year! His costume glows in the dark and he thinks it is the best! We were getting ready to leave to go to the party when I took this pic. I thought he looked hilarious in his costume in his car seat! His mask cracks me up!
Blair is Little Red Riding Hood! She is so adorable! So adorable, that I don't even think the Big Bad Wolf could eat her.
All the cousins that dressed up! (Minus a few cause they were getting dressed in their costumes.)
Blair and daddy! Blair has turned into quite the daddies girl recently.
We decorated pumpkins. Lukas made a fire man pumpkin.
Blair was pretty creative with hers! She made a princess. I helped a little. However, she did most of it herself.
She was the last one to leave the decorating table. Seriously, she loved it! I guess I should do more crafts with her. Is it bad to say that the mess scares me away a little? Good thing she starts preschool next year!
Blair and her finished pumpkin! I crack up every time I see it.
Bobbing for apples! Well Dan bobbed for apples. My kids didn't want to get their costumes wet so Dan did it for them. Bobbing for apples is awesome at grandma and grandpas party. The reason is because you get to exchange your apple for an envelope with money in it!
Blair got a 10.00 bill! Plus a few ones. We tried to get a pic of her holding it. She just kept folding it up and showing it to us. It was as good as I was going to get.
Lukas got 3 dollars! He was pretty excited. We told our kids that we were going to split the money between them. So they each got about 8 dollars. They are so excited because they are saving their money for Disneyland!
Blair and Gracie playing the bean bag game. They are such cute cousins and such great friends!

The fun Circus

My aunt Suzanne invited us to go to the circus with her. Of course we said yes! We LOVE the circus at our house. We went yesterday and had a fun filled night. My kids attemepted to ride the elephant, got their faces painted, took their picture with Bumble Bee and Optimus Prime, and petted some cute baby goats. They also really enjoyed the Circus show.

Lukas had been talking about riding the elephant all week long! He said he was for sure going to do it this time. When we got there I purchased two tickets, one for him and one for Blair. We got up there and Blair decided she didn't want too. Lukas got on the elephant was cool for a second then freaked out! He was hysterical. If they would have let me go then I think he would have been okay. I wasn't surprised Lukas got a little scared at the last minute he is a little timid. I was however surprised that Blair didn't want to do it. She is my little dare devil! We ended up doing the safer option and having our faces painted.

Lukas got his face painted like spider man!
Blair got her face painted like a butter fly.
My cute kiddies!
The petting zoo!
Waiting for the circus to start!
I think my kids favorite part about the circus was the boxing Kangaroo. I have to admit he was cute.

Blairs big girl room!

Blair's big girl room became completed tonight! I love it SO much! It is the cutest room in the house. Blair also loves it so much! She says "I love it!" One thing that I really love about it is how much the pieces that complete it show how much she is loved. So many people helped us make her room cute for her.

My aunt made this pin cushion board. We did a photo shoot a few months ago of a vintage tea party to help decorate her room. This dresser was my aunt Kristy's when she was young. She gave it to me when I was little. I used it for a while. I got a new bedroom set when I was 12 and we stored this one. It use to be white. I decided to take it out of storage and let Blair have it. Dan spray painted it pink and it turned out beautiful! I LOVE it so much!

My aunt Suzanne (the same one who made the pin board above.) made her this quilt for her bed. We went together to pick out the fabric and I just loved how it turned out. My grandma B also helped with making this quilt. It is something that Blair can treasure her whole life. I love that she can use it when she is older too.
My mom made her curtains. We bought a ton of fabric so it all matches each other.
Bow holders that are her initials.
Showing us how big she looks on her big girl bed! This bed was my step dads and he kindly let Blair have it. It is perfect for her!
My aunt also made a matching quilt for her baby dolls!
My little girl is now a big girl with a stylin room!
