New boots

Grandma and Grandpa bought my kiddies new boots today! Lukas has been calling grandma for a few weeks now begging for new black cow boy boots. She took him today. He LOVES them. Blair got rain boots. We tried to get her to try on pink cow boy boots. No way, she wanted rain boots. Even though they are HUGE and she looks like she is drowning in them she loves them. They have basically been wearing them all day and night. Jammies didn't stop the boot wearing in this house.

Watching T.V.

This is how we sometimes watch T.V. in our house. (Ignore my messy house) It cracks me up. I love that Lukas just lets Blair lay on him like that. What a great big brother, right?

Neighbors!

We are so lucky to have moved into such a great neighborhood! We have great neighbors and lots of fun kiddies to play with! Lukas and Blair love having little friends on the street to hang out with and have fun with. Today was such a beautiful day that we pretty much spent the majority of the day outside playing.
Nicole and Blair! Nicole and Blair are only six days a part. They are the cutest little girls! Can you tell they had fun with the side walk chalk before playing in the power wheels? Blair gave herself a blue mustache and Nicole gave herself blue blush cheeks.

I think in this picture we caught most of the kids crying. Really though they do play nice I promise!
They all plunged into and onto the power wheels. I couldn't believe it when it actually moved with all those kids on it.

Tu Tu cute!

Blair got this Tu Tu from Grandma and Grandpa for her birthday. She loves it. She has worn it every day since. She puts it on when she wakes up and doesn't take it off till bed time. She wears it over jeans, dresses, jammies and even sans clothing with just her diaper as you can see in below pics. She pretty much just pretends to be a ballerina. She leaps, skips, dances and spins all over the house. All day long she is saying "mommy, daddy watch this." Then she proceeds to show us her moves. She walks on her tip toes and puts her hands above her head and spins in true ballerina style.




I love all of these pictures. It shows how truly happy of a girl she is.
Lukas and Blair love each other so much. This picture makes my heart melt. It makes me think how Lukas will always protect Blair as her older brother. I hope they are the best of friends and always watch out for each other. There is nothing like someone always having your back.

Faves!

Seriously, don't I have the cutest kids ever? Their cuteness and the excellent photography skills by http://www.frecklesphotography.blogspot.com/ are making it so hard to choose my favorites. Here are some of them. I love these kids so much. Looking at these pictures just shows me how much personality they both have. We seemed to capture a lot of their goodness in this photo shoot. I get a smile on my face looking at these pics. Sometimes I wish I could just keep them little forever!

bday party at g and g W

Blair had a bday party at Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson's on the Sunday before her bday. She had lots of fun.

Blair's favorite thing at dinner at grandma and grandpa's is always rolls. Sometimes she licks all the butter off of it first before actually eating the roll.
The tongue thing was cracking me up. She did that a lot that night for some reason.
See the tongue again. HA HA.
Grandma and Grandpa gave her the Weebles tree house. She also got some of the accompanying toys from her cousins, aunts and uncles. This toy is a HUGE hit in our house. Both my kids love it. I have to stop fights over it all the time.
I let the kids make this cake. Lukas and Blair frosted and did the sprinkles. I did smooth the frosting out. However, the sprinkles ALL them. I am sure you can tell.
She did really well at blowing out her candles. She did it all by herself. She was proud.
I have to include a pic of these cute boys. Lukas has SO much fun with his cousins. He is so lucky to have so many close to his age. They play really well together and are so funny to watch playing.

Blairs 2nd birthday!

Today Blair turned 2! When she woke up this morning I went into her room and said "Happy birthday Princess. Did you know your now 2?" She started giggling and saying " No, No way!" HA HA. I guess I am not the only one in denial. I can't believe how grown up she is.

She asked for pop corn for lunch so guess what we had pop corn! A girl from my own heart.
Later we had a party at our house. My friend Maegan made this darling cake. So so cute!
Its her party she can cry if she wants too. Really though she didn't like her dress! When we made it and would try and get her to try it on she would say no and scream really loud. I thought she was just in a bad mood. I guess not. Every other time the dress would get near her she would get upset. I forced it on her today and she was NOT happy to say the least. Maybe it wasn't girly enough colors for her. She loves Sesamee Street so I don't understand.
She eventually warmed up to the dress.


So happy she got a dollar from Aunt Suzanne!
As you can see the dress didn't last long. O well I didn't force her. It is her birthday so if she didn't want to wear the dress she didn't have too. At least she still has the cute elmo bow in her hair.


She got a bean bag chair from Grandma and Grandpa. She loves it! She had to sport the sun glasses at the same time as jumping on it.
Happy birthday Miss Blair. We sure do love you! We hope you enjoyed your special day.
