Cloud Dough
The other day while on Pinterest.com I found a recipe for Cloud Dough. All it is, is 8 cups flour and 1 cup baby oil. When they are mixed together it makes something with the texture of play dough, but the packing power of sand. I decided to make it for my kids and see how they liked it. They LOVED it! Good thing I did this little project outside because man did it ever get messy! It started out very clean but by the end they were covered!
So much fun! They mad pretend cakes, cookies and bread! Blair might have thought it was real cause I had to tell her not to eat it a few times.

Lukas and his "cake".
Starting to get messy!

Even more messy!
My first thought was to tell them to stop but they were having SO much fun! I figured it would wash out so why not let them have some fun!

At the end! They were covered! I may have made them take their clothes off and the front porch. Then it was straight into the tub to get clean! While they had lunch and watched a movie I was outside spraying the drive way off with the hose. It was a good time. Lukas is already asking if we can make cloud dough again. I think it will probably be a little while before we do this project again! :)

Creativity
Lukas asked me to keep the cereal boxes because he wanted to make something out of it. I didn't really think he was serious until he saw one in the trash and got mad! So he took it out and this is what he came up with. I have to say he is very creative. This was all his idea. He cut and glued everything. The only thing I did was cut the holes for the eyes.

Pretty smart little boy! It still cracks me up every time I see him wear it.

Our day!
Our day consisted of enjoying the sunshine in the front yard, while practicing our golf swing. My kids were into doing this for over an hour. It was great. Lukas was teaching Blair what Dan had taught him. It was the cutest!

Can she please stay little FOREVER?

Lukas has a pretty good golf swing. I think a complete set of his own golf clubs is on the Christmas or birthday list. Like father like son. I am sure they will have a ton of fun on the greens!

Year 2!
Today Lukas started his second year of preschool! He is so excited to go back to Miss Val's class, and to be going 3 days instead of two. If we are being honest I am so excited as well. Lukas is so social and has been a little bored since all his friends started school. He has been asking me about every 20 min every day when his friends will be home. I felt so bad for him. I also got sick of saying 5 more hours etc every 20 min! :) Needless to say he was excited to get back in the groove of school.
Sitting on the porch all ready to leave!
He chose a Bat man back pack this year! NO surprise there!
Showing me that he is 4 years old.
Standing on the porch getting ready to walk in for his first day.
They made these magnets. Attached was a note that said I made this especially for you so you can display all my beautiful art work this year. I thought it was such a cute idea. After school Lukas told me he had tons of fun. He also said how he was so glad to be able to go 3 days a week and he couldn't wait for his next preschool day. I was surprised though how little his class was. There was only 7 kids! She usually gets a few more so I am expecting it to get a little bigger. She said the Mon-Wend-Fri morning class is her smallest. I guess he will just get some more hands on teaching.

Frog
The other day Dan came home from work with a surprise! It was a FROG! I guess he found it hopping around the building (inside.) He thought the kids would enjoy seeing it and brought it home. The kids thought it was GREAT! We took them outside and showed it to them. We let it hop around and catch it. They each touched it. Then we let it loose in the flower bed. I am guessing it didn't survive. My kids kept going out to the flower bed looking for it.
