New way to watch Sesamee Street
Lukas now has a new way he likes to watch Sesamee Street, in a basket! This is his toy basket. He dumped out all his toys so I thought I would put him in it. He loved sitting in it. I asked him if he wanted out and he would shake his head no. I eventually took him out but he wanted right back in there. So I put him back in and he watched most of Sesamee Street this way. Silly boy!

Pictures my friend took!
My friend Nately is starting a photography company. She is trying to build up her portfolio so she asked if Lukas could be a model for some Easter pics! Of course we said yes. Lukas was not having a good day when we took them. He was being good at first but he wouldn't stay put. HA HA. He kept running all over and turning around right when she would snap a picture. Towards the end it was getting close to bed time and he wouldn't stop crying. We didn't get any smiley pictures really because everytime he would smile he just happened to not look at the camera. We got a few good ones though. Nately and Chris thanks for your patience with Lukas! Maybe more smiles next time.
I LOVE this one. I think it is just so cute.

Easter Egg hunt # 2
Easter
Lukas had a fun Easter morning! He got a play set for the back yard to go along with his Easter basket. I know it seems like a big Easter gift, but I was going to get him one anyways so I thought I might as well get it for him for Easter. He loves it! When he saw it he started laughing. He played on it all morning before church. Too bad church didn't go so well. He was doing great in sacrament meeting until the opened the over flow area. Let me just mention this is the first time in like a year they have opened it. As soon as they opened it he took off. I had to chase him down. Then he wouldn't stay put so I took him to the foyer. I didn't want him down running all over. So I picked him up. He then threw his sippy cup onto the floor in rage and it busted open all over the floor and in my shoe. Guess who went home for a nap? Thats right Lukas and Dan.
All morning he has been running through the house with eggs in his mouth!

Yesterday we had an Easter Egg hunt at my grandma and grandpa Cranes. Lukas had so much fun. He loved being outside and picking up the eggs. The only thing was he kept trying to steal Sofia's eggs out of her basket. He would chase her around and try to take them. I don't think Sofia was very happy.
P.S. Pictures from today Easter morning and Easter outfit are coming later.
Look at all the eggs I got.

Fun busy day!
Today was a fun but busy day. My aunt is here with her three kids visiting from AZ. It was Abby's bday and she wanted to go to the Discovery Gateway childrens center. We headed up there and it was so much fun. They had a Sesamee Street Discovering the Body exhibit going on temporarily as well. Lukas loved it and did so well for not having a nap. They had so many things to do. They had grocery stores with check out stands. They had a huge kitchen to play in. They had a water center to play with. They also had this huge helicopter outside to play in. So many things to see and do. Lukas loved the Sesamee Street exhibit and was so cute going through it. They had it set up just like Sesamee Street. They even had an Elmo's World room. It was darling. After Discovery Gate way we went home and ordered pizza. After we ate we went to the park to play. That was followed up by cake and ice cream for Abby's bday. Lukas had a blast but was SO exhausted. He fell a sleep on the way home and screamed bloody murder when I got him out of the car seat. He cried the whole time I was putting him in his jammies. As soon as his body went into the crib he was a sleep. I have to admit I am a little tired as well from our fun filled day.
This horse was seriously up so high! Lukas got a little scared.
Lukas loved sitting in this car and driving.

Croup
Yesterday I left Dan and Lukas to go to Park City with my mom. I got home and Dan said Lukas hadn't really eaten much which he hasn't been the past few days. Later as I was doing some things he started coughing. I asked Dan if he had been coughing much today and he said a little. Well at about two in the morning I woke up to the most awful sound it almost sounded like Lukas had stopped breathing. I took him out of his crib and he just kept coughing and making that awful noise. I knew he probably had croup so I took him into the bathroom to steam it up and help him breath. Then this morning I took him to the after hours clinic. The confirmed my assumption and Lukas has croup. The poor kid is having such a hard time. They gave him some steriod medication and sent me home with some to give him tomorrow. The ped told me it should start getting better after tomorrow night. Of course the first time Lukas really gets sick with something besides a runny nose he has to get croup.

Beautiful day for the park
Yesterday was such a beautiful day that I decided to take Lukas too the park! He loved it. I think his favorite part was watching the older kids play. He kept pointing at them and following them. I think he SO wishes he was big. We stayed for about an hour until Lukas fell and hit his head on one of the benches. I figured it was time to go at that point. I am sure there will be many more park trips a head.

Temper Tantrums
Temper tantrums seem to be getting more and more frequent in our household. Pretty much anything can provoke them from a simple please don't Lukas, to a firm no or just making him come in from outside. Sometimes I just want to laugh at him because they are so funny. Sometimes I will admit to wanting to throw myself right down with him and throw one myself. Usually though I just resort to telling him I think temper tantrums are ugly and then I ignore him. I have to say though that he is the king of temper tantrums and even throws them if he falls over and hits his head on the end table ect. When this happens he proceeds to hit whatever he fell into and says don't. I guess if that makes him feel better!

Lukas was so tired after the hunt that we got him home and out of his car seat and he still wouldn't open his eyes. He just kept trying to lay down. Poor kid!
