Happy Halloween

We had a fun busy Halloween afternoon and evening. We went trick or treating on main street with Emma and Ali. They pretty much loaded up on way more candy then they will ever need doing this. After that we headed to the hospital to visit grandma at work. Then it was off to visit Great grandma and aunt Suzanne. Last but VERY much not least we visited Nately and Chris. Lukas was spoiled by all. I am sure it is because he looked so darn cute in his costume. Actually it is just because he is spoiled no matter what. Lukas had a good time and so did I.

Trick or treating on main street. Emma made a very cute Little red riding hood. They really are the best of buds.

The back of Lukas's costume. We tried really hard to get Lukas and Emma to pose for pictures before we left. It was a NO go! HA HA. This is all Lukas did was play with the tree and try to climb it. We got Emma to cooperate a few times but Lukas just did not care to do so.

Halloween party

Yesterday was the fun Halloween party that Dans parents give for the grand kids every year. Lukas had a lot of fun. The toddler bed situation has Lukas not getting as much sleep as usual (he is still adjusting) so he got a little cranky towards the end. We still had a blast though. I think Lukas's favorite activity was the potato sack races. Even though daddy had to help him. It was fun seeing Lukas wear his costume for the very first time. He looks so cute as a little ninja.

This face cracks me up! His ears look so big with the ninja hat. It makes them stick out.
Having fun playing in the leaves.
This is Lukas's ninja move. He kicks his leg and says Hi-YAH! It is so funny and so cute.

Big boy bed/Halloween party

A few exciting things today. First off we got Lukas a toddler bed this morning. I love the one we picked because it is made of the same wood as our crib so it matches really well with the other furniture. Lukas had a bit of a tough time tonight getting use to it. He got up a few times. I laid by him though and he soon fell a sleep. We will see if he will stay there the whole night. Second exciting thing was Halloween party at grandma and grandpa C's house. We invited our friends Neil, Ali and Emma to join us. Lukas needed a play mate since all his cousins on this side live in Wyoming. We had a good time eating yummy soup and carving pumpkins. Well Emma and Lukas pretty much just played. They started out carving pumpkins but then decided they were bored of it and went off to do their own thing. My pumpkin didn't do so well. It sort of broke on me and I had to stick it back together with tooth picks. Hey, I never said I was very artsy. O well I tried right?

Lukas "carving" a pumpkin
I made Dan clean out my pumpkin he was really sweet and did it.
All the finished pumpkins. Dan was really proud that his pumpkin had ears.
The mommy's and the kiddos Lukas was scared of the pumpkins for some reason. Only when he was sitting on our laps or the bar stools. He would walk up to them and sort of poke them and walk away. I guess he just wanted to be the one in control.
The daddy's and the kiddos
Lukas trying out his new toddler bed. He thought it was a cool jumping toy.

Blairs crib bedding

Some people have asked me what Blairs crib bedding looks like. Here it is! I just ordered it and I am so excited for it to get here. I love how it isn't too girly since Lukas and Blair will be sharing a room for a bit. It will be easy to coordinate Lukas's bedding to somewhat match. He will be getting a big boy bed in about a month and we will transition him. I also love this because the price was right! This four piece set was on clearance for 53.00. If you have your stuff shipped to your local Wal Mart store the shipping is free.

What we have been up too!

We have been MIA for a bit since our computer had a spyware virus. We are back in action though. We had a fun busy week. Here is what we have been up to lately.

Lukas tipped a chair over while he was standing on it. He got a HUGE fat top lip. Poor baby was so sad. We have bad luck with chairs.
We went to the pumpkin patch. Lukas was not in a happy mood. This is he and Emma riding the tractor hay ride to the pumpkin patch. This was their favorite part.

Lukas immediatley wanted to get back on the hayride. This was his face when I said no. He was not very happy.
We at least got one smile!
See his angry face? Lukas hasn't been sleeping well at night for some reason I think he is sleep deprived resulting in a not so happy Lukas and a not so happy mommy.
Emma and Lukas were filthy after the pumpkin patch. They were dirty from head to toe. Also they had some ice cream which also left them messy. As soon as we got home off came the clothes. They had a picnic of PB&J and cheetos (mostly cheetos) in the living room.
Dan and I took Lukas to Bridal Viel Falls. Lukas loved the leaves.
Throwing rocks in the river. At one point in front of the falls we looked down to see Lukas proceeding to take off his shoes and socks to try and get in the river. We said no and he was mad. He kept putting his foot up and trying to get Dan to take off his shoes. We didn't have a change of clothes so that was for sure a no go.
Lukas also developed a slight obsession/addiction to scentsy candles. He seriously has to smell them ALL the time. He sticks his whole face in the container it really cracks me up.

Cornbelly's

Yesterday a friend and I took our kids to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. Emma is only one month younger then Lukas so they had a bawl together! This place is great. They had so many activites for all ages. We stayed for a few hours till it started getting cold and crowded. The kids would have stayed if we would have let them. Thanks Ali and Emma for going with us!

Lukas wasn't quite sure what to think of the pumpkin princess!

Emma thought she was great though!

The jump house. Lukas had fun in it at first but then he realized I couldn't get in with him and that he was sort of stuck so he started to cry!

Isn't Emma SO cute?

Lukas about to fall on the jumpaline.

They had swings in the shapes of horses and the kids thought they were great.

This was a favorite activity trying to pump water to get the ducks to the other side. Of course any activity with water is a favorite of Lukas's.

Playing in the corn kernals the kids couldn't stop laughing at this.
