Odd bumps.

About four days ago Lukas got a little bump on his face. It looks just like a pimple and so I thought it was. Well yesterday while playing I noticed he had one on his forhead, one on his neck, two on his thumb, and some on his feet. I thought this was really odd and decided to take him to the Drs. I didn't want to deal with the after hours pediatrician office so I just ran down the street to the Drs. office that Dan and I go too. I have taken Lukas here before on in as needed basis. The Dr. wasn't positive what it was. He said it could be a mild case of the chicken pox. He also said it could be hand foot and mouth. He also said it could be just a viral infection. We pretty much ruled out hand foot and mouth because there wasn't a fever or blisters in his mouth. He was really leaning towards the chicken pox. So he gave me a perscription to give him to shorten the duration of it. Well I just didn't feel like it was the chicken pox. I came home googled them to see. I compared the pictures to the bumps on Lukas and just felt like that he didn't have them. Plus he has been vacinated for the chicken pox. Yes, I know you can still get a mild case even though you have been vaccinated. However, he hasn't been around anyone that has had the chicken pox so I couldn't figure out where he would have gotten it. I also googled hand foot mouth and ruled this out as well. He didn't have any bumps on the palms of his hands or bottom of feet. I didn't know if I should start him on the perscription or not. The next day he woke up and still had them. So I decided to take him to after hours at the pediatrician to get a second opinion. Well, guess what? He doesn't have chicken pox. I didn't think so. He has a virus that causes a rash. It is a similar virus to hand foot and mouth but isn't as severe as it. He said that he might get about ten more bumps before it goes away. He said that since he didn't have a fever that he wouldn't be too contagious. I can take him places as long as I keep him with me. No playing with other kids for about a week. He said it is spread through toy playing and sharing. He said that it is better to just keep him completley away from kids until then just in case. That is fine we don't really have to many plans to hang out with kids this next week. I just feel bad for Lukas. He said it usually starts with a sore throat. Maybe this is why Lukas was so sad and frustarted a few days ago. I can't wait till he can till me what is hurting him.

Lukas being silly

Lukas was being so silly today. He was cracking me up all day.

He kept walking around in my shoes. He also had to wear his sunglasses ALL day. If he didn't have them on his eyes he would put them on top of his head. I guess he sees me do this a lot.

Lukas loves balls. He is getting really good at kicking and throwing them. Today however, he wanted to try and balance on them on his stomach! Seriously, where does he come up with this stuff. So he would get on and balance and roll around on it with his tummy.
This is usually what happened complete nose dives!

Rocking horse!

Today grandma bought Lukas the cutest wooden rocking horse at a garage sale. I have been wanting to get Lukas one for a while. However, the ones I would see where way to expensive for my taste. We are so excited that she found this! It is so cute. At first Lukas was a little bit scared of it. He didn't want to get on it at all. Now he loves it and gets on it and rocks all by himself.

Getting cuter everyday.

There are two reasons for the post. The first one is obvious because yes, he is getting cuter everyday. The second reason is because I need to write some great and wonderful things about my little man after he drove me nuts today! Thank goodness he is so cute or else I wouldn't have made it through today. Lukas seriously cracks me up he is learning so much. He loves to give fives and rock! He loves his daddy and wants him to do everything with him. He is a great napper, I usually get about three hours out of him everyday. He is the best sharer. Seriously we were at the pool yesterday and we brought a few balls to play with there. He kept giving them to other kids to play with. He wouldn't take no for an answer either. At church if there is a kid in front of us he gives EVERY SINGLE toy he has to them. Hopefully he keeps this up. Tonight he helped mommy pick up all his toys before bed time and he did a great job. He is so cuddly and loves to give kisses. When you take his picture he loves to look at them when you are done. I don't know what I would do without this little man in my life. Yes, even on the days he drives me nuts. I just need a little reminder.

Lets hear it for the boys!

Every year grandma (Dans mom) throws a sleepover bash one for the boys and one for the girls. Friday night was the boys sleepover party. It was a magician theme and the boys had so much fun. I know it takes a lot of work but the boys loved it so much and appriciate all grandma does for them. Lukas isn't old enough to sleepover yet, but he still got to particpate in all the fun activites. A magician came and performed and also made balloon animals. Lukas loves to be around his cousins. I don't blame him there are lots of them to give him attention and love.

Lukas actually pausing for a break of mostly running around to watch the magician.

He actually sat with A.J. for a while. How nice of A.J. to let him sit on his lap.

The magician juggled fire! Lukas cried at this.

Lukas's balloon is a tractor

Lukas thought his tractor was pretty neat. However, he kept putting it on the grass and it would pop.

Utah holiday

Mapleton has a little Pioneer Day celebration every year. They do a little parade and a little carnival with games at the park. While Dan was working my mom and I took Lukas to the parade and carnival. Lukas loved pretty much everything about the parade. Well, except one thing, the MARCHING BAND! He was totally fine when the police cars, ambulances and fire trucks came by with the loud sirens. However, he hated when the marching band came by. He seriously started screaming. He has never heard one before so maybe he just didn't like the loud drums. I was surprised because he loves music. He loved that they threw out candy at him and he would go and get it and put it in the stroller. He also loved to wave at the little kids in the parade. His favorite thing about the carnival was the snow cone.

Eating his snow cone. It went everywhere. On his shirt down his diaper.
Picking up the candy to put in the stroller.

This is how hard he cried at the marching band. Can you say terrified?

Me and Lukas watching the parade. (I realize that I already look really pregnant in this picture. Really though it is just the way I am sitting.)
