Temple Open house

Today we went to the temple open house in South Jordan. A little bit ago we had a Family Home Evening Lesson on Temples. We built temples out of blocks and talked about the significance of the temple. Lukas now is always making temples out of blocks and asking to go to the temple. We thought what a perfect oppurtunity it would be to go to take him when we can actually go inside. All week we prepped him telling him he had to be reverant and quiet in the temple. We told him no screaming and no running. We went with my aunt and uncle and their kids, grandma B and my great Uncle. The kids were so good and so cute. When we drove up to the temple Lukas said oh wow that is pretty. He kept saying oh that is my temple. He was excited to see the baptismal font. He said he wanted to go swimming. He said I want to go swimming with my clothes on and with my tie on. Sofia was so cute as well. When we went through the locker rooms she asked her mom if this was where Jesus changed his clothes. How the little ones think is so cute. Lukas was really good and we were glad we could take him to it. After we went and had Pizza at the Pie Pizzareia. I love that place best pizza ever. I wish there was one closer.
