Lukas LOVES his puffs!

I can not believe how much this kid loves his puffs. If he sees a can he points at it and screams till I give him some. He somehow always finds them in the bottom of the diaper bag. Today I was trying to get him to hold still for a minute and so I was feeding him puffs. Well I obviously wasn't feeding them to him fast enough because he took the jar away and reached his hand in there. He came up with a ton of puffs in his hand and shoved them all in his mouth. Of course all of them wouldn't fit so some of them ended up on the bed. Then he put the can up to his mouth and tried to drink them. That didn't work so he reached his hand in there again. He did this over and over again. I thought it was so funny. After a little bit I figured he had enough puffs and took them away.

Family pics + some random ones

A few weeks ago we had our family pictures taken. It was pretty cold and windy but they still turned out great. Lukas did awesome. He didn't cry once and smiled so much. He loves to be outside so I am sure he was loving it. Our photographer was so sweet and did an awesome job. She kept saying how cute Lukas was and how she just couldn't stop taking pictures of him. She probably says this to everyone but it still made me feel good.

This is a picture of our signature piece from our family pictures. I tried scanning in the eight by tens and five by sevens but it isn't working correctly. I will have to play around a little bit and see if I can get them uploaded correctly. These were our favorite thirteen pictures. It was tough to choose there were so many good ones.

Lukas LOVES to be outside. So we take walks almost everyday. This is right before our walk yesterday.

Lately Lukas has been getting mad during feedings. He really wants to feed himself. So if he gets really upset I make sure he has had enough to eat and let him have it. He does okay with the spoon he can get some on it and get it in his mouth. After a few tries I think he thinks it is to slow and uses his fingers. The other night he had rice cereal and carrots. YUM!!! This is what he looked like when he was done.

Lukas got this blue balloon and the green balloon behind him trick or treating on main street. He loves them. He is constantly playing with them.

1st Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year with Lukas. He was an octopuss. He loved wearing his costume. Everytime I pulled it out for him to wear he would laugh and giggle. He had a hard time crawling in it, but he looked super cute in it. We got to do so many fun things. He went to a party and Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinsons and played with all of his cousins. We went trick or treating with our friends Riley and Alex. Then we went and visited Grandma at work. She had fun showing everyone how cute Lukas looked. We went to see Great aunt Suzanne and Great Grandma. They gave him a cute little octopuss to match his costume for him to play with in the tub. We went and visited our friends Nately and Chris and played with their bunny Lupin. Lukas went to bed late but passed right out he was so so tired.

First haircut

Lukas got his first haircut today! We figured it was about time. When we put his hair in a mowhawk it curls a little on top. I think this is the reason he has been mistaken for a girl a few times! That and his huge blue eyes and super long eyelashes. He did pretty well. He didn't cry once! He kept moving and was making it a little hard on Suzanne to cut his hair. She gave him a sucker and it helped a little bit. Now he looks more like a little boy then a baby!

I love dogs!

Lukas seriously loves dogs. Our friend Madilyn has a dog named Pip and whenever we go over there Lukas chases him all over the house. I have never heard him giggle so much. I think a dog might be in our future ( way later)!

Fun New Things!

Lukas has been so much fun the last few days. So happy and so giggly. He is seriously laughing at everything. He has gotten some fun new favorite things. Grandma Crane bought him a new toy that he absolutely loves. She got him a bunny that plays games and music. It is the first thing he crawls to in the morning to play with. He loves to cuddle with it. He also loves to dance with it when it plays music. Lately Lukas has been refusing the sippy cup. I was a little worried because I really want to have him weened off of the bottle by one. He has had so many ear infections I think to try and have him weened off of the bottle as soon as possible will help prevent him from having more. So I bought him a sippy cup with a straw and he loves it. I didn't think he would be able to suck out of the straw but he was able to. Of course a lot of whatever he is drinking ends up all down the front of his shirt but thats okay he will get the hang of it

YAY I am all clean after my bath.

Dan was giving Lukas a bath the other night and put the washcloth on Lukas's face, he just left it there. It seriously took him forever to take it off. He just kept playing and then took it off and laughed.

I decided to let Lukas feed himself. He thought it was so much fun. After a little while though he had, had enough!

Lukas started pulling himself up today! Dan and I looked over and he had pulled himself up on the baby gate. He looked so excited. I wasn't sure if he was going to be able to get back down, but he just sat right back down when he was done looking over it.
