Harley Riding

Today was SO nice! Lukas was so happy because he got to ride his "Harley" AKA big wheel grandma and grandpa gave him for his bday outside for the first time. He loved it and had a lot of fun. He thought it was really fun to push the bike forward (we are still working on using the pedals) and then go really fast backwards and lift up his feet.

I love how he sticks his toungue out in concentration.

When he saw the snow he had to try and drive through it. Of course he got stuck.

He also had to sweep my car off for some reason. It is dirty and it does need to be washed.

Happy V day!

We had a great Valentines Day! We hope everyone else did too. Lukas was excited to get a present and had fun opening them. Dan and I just wrote each other nice letters to show our love. My awesome aunt offered to watch Lukas for us so we could go on a date. We went on a double date with our friends Nately and Chris. We went to Iggy's then we watched The Rocker. It was nice to have a night out. This will probably be our last date before little miss Blair arrives. Dr. Grover said she won't let me go passed 39 weeks since I am developing Pre E. So we are SO VERY thankful to have had the oppurtunity. Lukas had so much fun over at Suzannes and Grandma B's. When we went and picked him up we thought he was sleeping because he didn't even run out to see us. Nope, he was wide awake watching Elmo and playing. He didn't even seem like he cared to leave. I asked him if he had fun and he said mmm hmmm and nodded (he never says yes anymore just mmmm hmmm.) I am glad Lukas had fun on his Valentines date.

He was funny because he would unwrap a little bit of a present and walk over put the wrapping paper on daddy and then walk back to unwrap some more.

Bathing baby

Yesterday we brought down the baby bath tub and car seat. Lukas was intrigued with the baby tub. He even put his "baby" in the tub and washed her. We thought he was doing really well UNTIL.....

So far so good.

He picked up the tub with the baby in it and....

dumped her on the floor. Needless to say I don't think he will ever be alone with Blair for sometime.

Childrens mueseum

We decided we needed to do one more really fun family thing for Lukas before miss Blair makes her arrival. We thought we would take Lukas to the childrens museum. We invited Neil, Ali and Emma to come with us. I think that Lukas enjoyed it. They have so many fun things for little kids to enjoy.

Dan wanted to get in on the fun so he got on the horse. This is the only horse he will ever ride since he is allergic to them.

They have a place where you can pretend to be part of a news crew. You can see yourself on screen. Dan and Lukas were dancing here. Lukas thought it was pretty funny.

This was one of Lukas's favorite things. He sat there forever putting the paper in the wind tunnel and watching it blow out.

Emma and Lukas enjoyed just running around the patio where the helicopter was the most. It was such a beautiful day I think they were just enjoying the sunshine.

When we got to the car Lukas got SO upset he started screaming and crying and trying to run away. When we put him in the car he kept saying why why. I guess he wanted to stay. We didn't get to far before he fell a sleep though.

What a mess!

Lukas had a little bit of a bathroom issue this morning. This meant we had to change a few diapers. Well he was getting a little diaper rash so I put some Gold Bond baby powder on his bum and in his diaper (this always clears it up for us.) Well I left the bottle of baby powder sitting there while I went to throw the dirty diaper outside. I was gone literally ten seconds when I came back to this! The bottle was closed but Lukas opened it and I found him shaking it all over the place. Seriously, he was covered and so was our entertainment center, floor and television. It took me a while to clean up the mess. I had to snap a few pictures though. Either Blair will be SO good or be right there with Lukas because he teaches her these things.

Dan did bring me home flowers today which was really sweet and brightened up my day! Thanks honey!

Circus

Today my mom took Lukas and I to the circus. I wasn't sure how well Lukas would do and if he would enjoy it. Well he LOVED it! He had a so much fun. He paid attention to the whole show and didn't act bored once. He did keep asking if we could go down to the floor while the acts were on. I had to explain to him we just watch the show. He loved the tigers and lions. He kept pointing at them and saying tiger and then he would growl. He clapped when he was supposed too. He danced a lot. He kept saying oh wow and laughing. He was really into it. I am so glad he enjoyed it. It is so much fun to do things with your kids. They are so entertaining and make everything fun. He was so sweet in the middle of the show he would just lean over and give me and grandma kisses. Then he would switch over to hugs. It was like he was saying thank you for bringing me to the circus. Grandma deserves all the credit though she saw it advertised and bought the tickets and spoiled Lukas (and I) at the show. Thank you grandma for a fun time.

Yes, I realize I am hugely pregnant.

Before the show and during intermission you could buy tickets to ride pony's and elephants and get your face painted. They even had a bear and you could get your picture taken by him. Grandma spoiled Lukas and let him go on a pony ride.

We weren't sure if Lukas would like an elephant ride because it is SO high. So we decided to opt out.

Sneak peak

About a week ago we had Lukas's two year pictures done. This is the sneak peak picture we got off of Nately's blog. We did a rock star theme because Lukas is really into guitars and music right now.
