Rain Rain go away!

Today was the Nestle 5 K fun run for Art City Days. We usually do this every year. This year was no exception. Lukas, Dan, my parents and I registered to do it. We were quite disappointed to wake up to so much rain. Since it was raining pretty bad we decided to opt out. If it would have stopped and just been wet I would have bundled Lukas up anyways and gone for it. We were pretty disappointed because we were looking forward to the first time ever doing it as a family. Dan usually has to opt out at the last minute because of work or school. The exercise would have been nice as well. Also Lukas would have gotten a plaque for his age even though he was just riding in the stroller. My parents being the troopers they are still ran it. After the race they give away prizes. Even if you don't participate in the run as long as you have a number you can get a prize. My parents took our numbers with them to see if we would win. Lukas won a prize! He won a horse shoe game, volleyball, and a big variety package of Willy Wonka candies. So even though we didn't participate we still came out with something. Hopefully next year it will be nice and sunny and we can participate.

Instead we stayed in our jammies and watched the sunny side up show on Sprout.
