Zoo

Yesterday we went to the zoo! We had so much fun. We almost vetoed it at the last minute because we weren't sure if we wanted to chance being rained on. We are so glad we went. It was beautiful weather. We didn't get rained on and it wasn't too hot. Both the kids were so good and had a blast.

When you have a big brother.

You get to dress up in his awesome Halloween costumes. What little girl doesn't want to be batman and the devil!


You can not tell me this picture doesn't put an instant smile on your face? I laughed out loud when I saw it. HILARIOUS!! Blair now says batman. Only because Lukas worked so hard with her to say it. He kept telling Blair she needed to say Bat man like her cousin Gracie. At first she just stared at him. He worked with her all day and by the end of the day she was saying it.

She is to much of an angel to be a devil. Lukas is so excited to be batman this year. He is always wanting to try his costume on.

Grand kids and party

Today my parents had a party at their house. Lots of people were invited and it was a blast. We had yummy food, great company and a band. Blair loved the band and was dancing around like crazy. She would even clap her hands to the beat. When a song ended she would clap and yell YAY! Both Lukas and Blair had fun playing with cousins they don't see very often. We were glad we could get together and have a good time. Before the party started we took pictures of the grand kids all together. We didn't have much time to get a professional photographer so I took them. With that said I am NOT a professional photographer and these pics in no way reflect that I am. We did get some cute ones that I would like to say are frame worthy. My mom got all the grand kids matching shirts and they looked super cute.

They had a piniata and Lukas and Blair each got a chance to hit it. We got lots and lots of candy to bring home.

Diva

Seriously that is what I think of when I see these picture. She is so funny. She LOVES this rocking horse. She is a little to daring for it if you ask me but I try not to worry about it and go with the flow. Even when she stands on top of it and I have to insist she sits her fanny down! She had to wear the sun glasses the other day. It cracked me up. Just a diaper and sunglasses on riding into the sun set.

Smores

On Sunday night we went over to my parents and had a fire and roasted marshmellows and made smores. My kids had so much fun. They ate lots and lots of chocolate and lots and lots of marshmellows.

Blair loves this little chair at grandma and grandpas. However, the other day she fell off of it onto the concrete and got super bad road rash on her nose. It was so sad.

Even Blair roasted marshmellows. She had fun even if no one wanted to eat the ones she roasted. She kept sticking them in the ashes. YUMMY!

Water fight

Yesterday we went outside to FINALLY (yes we had a ton of weeds in our flower bed) weed our flower beds in the back yard. After a while we got tired of it and it turned into a water fight. Who can blame us? Water fights, or weeding? Of course WATER FIGHT! I will be honest I didn't participate I just watched. Lukas, Dan and Blair had a blast though. In the end I was the only one dry.

No wonder he loves his daddy so much. Who else would let him squirt them in the face with a hose?

After a bit Blair got sick of being in the fight and just concentrated on squirting water in this pop bottle with the spray bottle. It kept her occupied for quite a while.

Carnival

On Thursday we took the kids to the carnival. They loved it. Blair wanted to go on EVERY ride! She is so crazy so I am not surprised. We only let her ride a few though. She can climb out of the shopping carts at the store so I am sure if she wasn't liking the ride she would have found a way to get out. I wasn't risking it. She got to go on the fun house and the merry go round. We let Lukas go on whatever rides he chose. We tried to talk him into the kiddie roller coasters. He wasn't having it though, he said they were too fast.


This had to be the longest carasouel ride ever. Seriously, Lukas even asked when it was going to be over. HA HA. Blair thought her horse was a rocking horse and kept trying to rock back and forth. She didn't think the ride was to long because she was mad when we took her off.
